The 2011 International Songwriting Competition finalists have been announced, and Shane has scored THREE finalist spots in the Americana category. He also gained four semi-finalist nods across the Folk/Singer-Songwriter, Americana and Country categories. The prestigious annual comp was won by Kasey Chambers last year.

Bad Machines has been nominated for Best Country Album at the 2011 ARIA Awards.

Shane has joined the collection of international artists in the UK's hit tribute concert; Way To Blue: The songs of Nick Drake.
Shane will be appearing at the Queenscliff Music Festival on Sunday 27 November.
Thanks to all of you who came out to the Gympie Muster last weekend - especially those who braved the rain on Saturday. It was a whole lot of fun!
Shane has just released all three of his previous solo albums - It's A Movie, Faith & Science and Familiar Ghosts - together in one package AND also included is a bonus rarities disc called Sleeping Dogs - The Rarities which features B-sides, bonus tracks and some unreleased songs accumulated over the past 10 years.

If you missed Shane's performance on Channel 10's The Circle last Friday, 
Shane and Kasey are heading out on tour to present their respective solo albums, "Little Bird" and "Bad Machines".
Shane will be joining a huge line-up that includes Kasey Chambers, Lee Kernaghan, Troy Cassar-Daley, Gina Jeffreys and Catherine Britt at the ‘OPTUS Gympie Music Muster SPIRIT OF THE COUNTRY’ – a special one off concert event in Toowoomba on Sunday 20th March.
